I’m a student who grew up glued to cooking shows and started making my own meals at 12. Over the years I’ve built up a set of go-to recipes (some borrowed from chefs, some of my own experiments) that prove cooking doesn’t have to be complicated to be good.
A lot of young men never really get taught how to cook, and I think that’s a shame. Being able to make flavorful, satisfying food for yourself is one of the most practical (and underrated) skills you can learn.
If you’re curious what that looks like day to day, check out my food diary, as it’s all about bold flavors over fancy plating.
First dish I ever made? Pasta bolognese (very much my own spin, not traditional).
